In order to make this opportunity as accessible to all as possible, we can only accommodate up to 25 students and 5 chaperones, per school. Please do not reserve more seats than your group will require, so we can accurately accommodate our waitlist. If your numbers change closer to the day of the festival, please notify us, so we can update your voucher.
If you are on our waitlist, we are at capacity for the festival. You will be emailed if seats become available.
Our schedules are carefully curated to ensure we do not go over the capacities of each poetry session. This helps us create a safe and enjoyable space for all of our guests. For your safety, please use the schedule assigned to your school, so we know how to locate your group throughout the day in the event of an emergency.
If you can only stay for a portion of the event, please indicate which hours you are available in your reservation request. We will try our best to curate a schedule that aligns with your ideal arrival and departure.
Arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of your first session, so you can get checked in and find your session. Once your registration is complete, we will send a map of our campus with the check-in area clearly marked. We will not be able to provide bus parking throughout the day, but there will be a designated space for your bus to return to when it is time for departure.
Call us at 973.297.5828 after 6:30AM the day of the festival for any updates or cancellations. If NJPAC cancels the festival, we will attempt to reschedule. If your school is closed but the performance is not canceled, we are unable to reschedule.
Due to the number of sessions programmed and the capacities of each space, we schedule groups to maximize individual experiences and allow diverse insights for your students. We will determine the number of small groups needed for your school, so your group coordinator can divide the students into their curated schedules ahead of time.
Your admittance vouchers will be sent within a month of the festival. In order to receive your voucher, our team must receive proof of acquired transportation to our venue. Once transportation is coordinated and we create your schedule, we will send a voucher outlining your sessions. This voucher will need to be signed and returned to us for your registration to be complete.
If there are not enough teachers to meet the required ratio of 1 chaperone per 10 students, your school is welcome to invite caregivers, volunteers, and other school staff to the festival. A ratio of 1 trusted adult for every 10 students is required for the safety of all participants given the size of the event.
A roster of sessions will be emailed to registered groups in the month of August. Please email dodgeyoungartists@njpac.org if you do not receive additional information by September.
