Peter is a Taiwanese-American director, choreographer, and dancer who hails from San Francisco. He holds a BFA in Dance from the University of California at Santa Barbara and has trained professionally with renowned companies including Alonzo King LINES Ballet, ODC/Dance, Post:Ballet, Sidra Bell Dance NY, Visceral Dance Chicago, Springboard Danse Montréal, Yin Yue and more. He is now the artistic director of his own company, PETER & CO.
Pulling from over a decade of movement research across contemporary forms, modern dance, improvisation, and the structures of the ballet line, he will explore the body in relation to rhythm and pulse, fluid dynamics, and deep anatomic listening in this virtual class.
