America has imposed new tariffs on its trading partners. What has changed since they went into effect, and what changes will we see in the future? Will prices inevitably rise, or will new trade alliances emerge? And how will Newark, a hub in the network of global trade, be affected?
Join us for the next NJPAC Business Partners Roundtable at 8:30AM on Tuesday, April 28, when elected leaders and executives from transportation and infrastructure organizations will share their insights into the evolution of global trade in the era of tariffs.
Panelists include Congressman Rob Menendez (NJ-08) — a former Port Authority Commissioner — as well as Francis Walsh, CEO of National Retail Systems, a large US logistics company headquartered in NJ; Jayne Millard, Executive Chairman and Co-CEO of Turtle & Hughes, a global leader in supply chain solutions; and Peter Jabbour, General Counsel, Americas, A.P. Moller – Maersk, a global transport and logistics company with significant operations across the US. Colleen Wilson, transportation reporter for The Bergen Record and Gannett newspapers, will moderate.
