Join EvoluCulture Ventures on night one of the 21st Dodge Poetry Festival, and bring a poem with you!
The EvoluCulture Open Mic and Mixer gives space to be on stage and share your work for the first or hundredth time alongside DJ The IZM. Festival poets and members of the Newark arts community will have the opportunity to connect, form and express stories and appreciation with each other.
The night will be curated and hosted by EvoluCulture CEO Sean Battle with headlining poet Kendee Love and spotlight poet Talena Lachelle Queen. This event is free for all to attend. Doors open at 6PM. Please arrive early to sign up for the open mic, as limited slots are available. Program begins promptly at 7:00PM.
