Overview
Raphael Saadiq is “a towering figure in the R&B of the last 30 years” (Variety). He started out as a teenage bassist in Sheila E.’s backing band on tour with Prince, then rocketed to stardom with his R&B trio Tony! Toni! Toné!.
With his renowned creative vision and encyclopedic knowledge of pop, he’s long been a go-to collaborator for the biggest names in music, including Solange Knowles, John Legend, Mary J. Blige, D’Angelo, Ne-Yo, Snoop Dogg, Little Dragon, Erykah Badu, Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, Elton John, Mick Jagger and Lady Gaga.
“The king of neo-soul” will perform songs that span his entire career, from his days in Tony! Toni! Toné! to his acclaimed solo albums to his newest record, Jimmy Lee. You’ll even hear hits he wrote for other artists.
Raphael will be joined by singer and songwriter Jamila Woods and DJ Duggz.
