NJPAC Summer Camp Kids

Ages: 9 – 12
Location: New Jersey Performing Arts Center 

Dive into a high-energy, three-week multidisciplinary intensive where acting, movement and vocal music come together. Young artists won’t just learn the craft, they’ll use it to tell their own story. Working alongside professional teaching artists, young artists will collaborate to create original work rooted in lived experiences. The session culminates in a performance on the stage at NJPAC.

TD Jazz for Teens Summer Intensive

Ages: 13 – 18
Location: 15 Washington Street

Led by Mark Gross, NJPAC Director of Jazz Instruction, and NJPAC’s world-class faculty, this exciting week of intensive training provides a comprehensive foundation in jazz. Young artists will sharpen their technique and ensemble playing while diving deep into music theory and listening history. Through focused instruction in musicianship and improvisation, participants gain the essential tools and artistic vocabulary needed to elevate their artistry and will also have an opportunity to compose or arrange music of their favorite artists.
