professionaldevelopmentinitiative
Apply to be a part of NJPAC’s Arts Integration initiative, a transformative professional development series designed specifically for classroom teachers like you. This multi-year program is crafted to help you integrate the arts and core subjects easily into your existing curriculum, enriching your teaching journey with creativity and innovation.
¡Reaviva tu amor por la enseñanza y el aprendizaje a través del desarrollo de una práctica creativa!
Por qué participar
- Join a community: Become part of a dedicated group of teachers and artists who are passionate about integrating the arts into non-arts curriculum.
- Refill your creative well: Build new skills and gain confidence across multiple art forms while reigniting your passion for teaching.
- Long-term support: Engage in a multi-year process that bolsters your teaching practice with strategies that embrace social and emotional learning, healing-centered practices and teaching through an equity lens.
Cómo Participar
- We encourage teachers to apply as part of a team, including an arts specialist if possible (maximum of four teachers).
- If applying as a team is not feasible, you’re welcome to apply as an individual.
“Los estudios encuentran que la integración de las artes con la instrucción en otras materias académicas aumenta el aprendizaje y los logros de los estudiantes y ayuda a los maestros a satisfacer de manera más efectiva las necesidades de todos los estudiantes”.
