Salsa dance at la placita! Enjoy a 30-minute salsa lesson taught by Newark’s own Griselle Ponce (The Mambo Diva), one of the top Latin dancers and choreographers in the world.
Then dance the night away on NJPAC’s outdoor plaza while DJ Ivan fuels the night with unstoppable Latin vibes. The evening also includes performances by dancers from two local salsa schools.
Cocktails and food will be available for purchase. La Placita Salsa Social is produced in partnership with Newark’s Puerto Rican Day Parade Inc.
